SOLD OUT. “Done. Not Quite Done.” (aka "i am" black and white text background) - neon light
THIS PIECE IS SOLD OUT, PLEASE IGNORE THE GET NOTIFIED BUTTON. I can’t work out how to get rid of it for the sold out pieces.
This piece was made and then sent over to the US straight away to be exhibited at the Loveland Museum, Denver during the first half of 2020 for the She Bends show, an international collection of women who bend their own neon glass. As of Aug 2020 it is back in the UK and will be available via Chappell Contemporary.
Warm white argon and mercury filled glass tubes in the shape of my usual slightly unhinged handwriting, backing consists of matt acrylic, archival print and aluminium. UK transformer (converter), brass stands, porcelain tops, spray paint, nickel wire, grommets, cable ties and holders, silicone covers. Deep aluminium frame.
.
Unique piece (not an edition, though there was also one with a gold tone background. That’s it though - no other variants in future - so whoever buys this gets a one off like this and can be assured there are not going to be variants coming out from me.
